Hello everyone! Surprise!!! Here's an extra bonus blog post. I'm thinking of doing a bi-weekly bonus blog on mental health. This one will be available to everyone for free! Mental Health is something that's really important to me. I know that there are a lot of people who really struggle with their mental health, rather it be the time of year, issues going on in their lives, or a mental health disorder. As someone who works in the health care field, let me tell you that in my experience, more people have some sort of anxiety or depressive disorder, than not. It's a huge issue, and it's debilitating. I myself suffer from GAD or general anxiety disorder. I've had it for a very long time. A few years ago I started experiencing pain and fatigue...and depression. I was finally diagnosed with a condition called fibromyalgia. This condition is constant widespread pain and fatigue. There are so many other symptoms that come with it as well. I struggle with pain, fatigue, and mental health issues every day of my life. Why am I telling you this? Because I know what it's like to experience struggles with mental health. I know what's it like to be in a constant battle with your mind. I know what it's like to be in a room full of people, and feel completely alone. I know what it's like to think, "what's wrong with me?" I also know, I'm not the only one who experiences these thoughts and emotions. If you are someone who suffers from this, just know you're not alone. There are many of us. The beast that is anxiety and depression, is a massive one. It doesn't care who you are, where you come from, how you live your life, it attacks who/when/ and where it wants.
